I live in Los Angeles with my husband and son by way of Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Pittsburgh, though I have never lost my small town North Carolina roots. Hi Delia! My fiance and I are planning a wedding in nearby Millbrook for this September. We stumbled on your blog because we may stay at the Salvato Mill. Anyway, we LOVE what you did with your big day. Any chance you could share where you got the lighting (or specifically what type of lighting you used)??
Hi! We actually just used the outdoor lighting built into the mill with a TON of white string lights that we bought on ebay. The canopy of Christmas lights lit the evening beautifully. Let me know if you have any other questions about the area- Congratulations and Good Luck!
