Spruce Up Your Pumpkin Pie!
Whether you make or buy a pumpkin pie for your holiday party, try sprucing it up a little like I did with this beauty. Remember when you’d cut snowflakes out of folded paper in elementary school? That’s all I did, but out of parchment paper instead! I cut, ironed and then laid the snowflake over the baked and cooled pie and dusted it with powdered sugar. I carefully lifted the paper off, revealing a lovely a reverse print. I finished it off with candied walnuts around the edge. Delicious!
